TooFar Media Brings Immersive Storytelling to SXSW Sydney

We are excited to travel down under to Sydney, Australia for SXSW’s first-ever event outside of Austin, Texas. We’re bringing our new Immersive Pod for festivalgoers to experience a visually stunning showcase of our stories / storyworlds and learn more about who we are. We’ll also be showcasing our latest multimedia project within our very own TooFar Media app.

We are excited to be attending SXSW Sydney and sharing our work with the world. We believe that immersive storytelling is the future, and we are committed to creating new and innovative ways to tell stories.

It will be fun to be in the mix with other creatives and industry leaders to learn about the latest trends in immersive storytelling, technology, and changing audiences. And as always, we’ll be on the lookout for new partners and artistic collaborators.

Enter the immersive world of TooFar Media’s eleventh project – Beneath Caaqi’s Wings which combines a novel from acclaimed author Rich Shapero, stunning artwork from New Zealand artist Dean Buchanan, mind-blowing animations from Tom Cottle along with traditional Gamelan musical soundscapes. Using some of the latest technologies including PlayCanvas, Blender, After Effects and Photoshop – TooFar Media is pioneering new frontiers for how storytelling should be experienced by converging visionary art with cutting-edge technologies, building fantastic Storyworlds that transverse wild landscapes and visionary realms that unfold views of realities which are surprising and fresh, and true at the same time.
